About the Conference

Heart & Hand is a one-day, in-person conference designed to provide practical tools for fostering children’s emotional and cognitive growth. The name reflects two key principles: the importance of strong relationships (heart) and hands-on, experiential learning (hand). Sessions will focus on real-world strategies for guiding children, particularly ages 15 months to 6 years, in ways that support their independence, confidence, and curiosity.

Who should attend?

This dynamic event will feature informative presentations and interactive sessions designed to address the varied needs and interests of adults who spend time with children ages 15 months - 6 years old, including classroom teachers and assistants, daycare professionals, in-home caregivers, parents, and grandparents. College students interested in preschool through early elementary education are also welcome.
